The Macon County Health Department provides preventative services to ensure the ongoing health of all citizens with the community. Especially important is the health and welfare of women in childbearing age, infants, and children through their late teen years. The health department receives funding through the State of Missouri’s Maternal Child Health grant program to provide health and preventative measures to these vulnerable groups of citizens.
We seek your input for our ongoing program to ensure that our efforts are in line with community needs.
