Stay cool as the temperatures rise this summer.
Remember to drink water throughout the day to stay hydrated and prevent overheating. Some ways to get yourself or a family member to drink more water would be to get a cup you love to drink from, add some fruit for flavoring, and drink one cup of water right when you wake up.
Wear sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and light, loose clothing to protect your skin from the sun’s rays and stay cool. Reapply sunscreen as directed and use age-appropriately for adults and kids.
Never leave a dog or a child in a hot car. Double-check the backseat before leaving the vehicle.
